Many of us can’t start our day without a morning cup of coffee. But, did you know the caffeine in coffee may actually help prevent skin cancer?

Prelimary animal studies suggest yes caffeine may have photoprotective chemicals in it. In the journal of Investigative dermatology, 2009 Feb 26 (http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/jid.2008.435) studies indeed point to caffeine as having a chemopreventive agent against the adverse effects of UV radiation.
