Make Sunblock a Habit

By now, everyone knows the benefits of the daily use of an effective sunscreen. It can help prevent sunburns, skin cancer, sun spots, and even wrinking of the skin. Yet, a lot of people neglect their skin by not using an effective sunscreen daily.
I encourage all my patients to make putting on sunscreen a daily habit. It’s no different than combing your hair or brushing your teeth. Just incorporate sunscreen in to your morning routine.
The problem is most individuals keep their sunscreen with their beach gear, golf bag, or pool stuff, etc. Out of sight, out of mind. Try putting your tube of sunscreen with your toothpaste, hair gel, or whatever products you use in your morning routine. This way it will be there to remind you to put it on.
Make putting on sunscreen part a daily habit. You may be surprised how easy of a habit it is to incorporate into your daily routine.
